Prophets in the Qur'an, Volume 2: The Later Prophets

This volume considers the following prophets: Prophet Musa (Moses),
Prophet Harun (Aaron),
Prophet Da'ud (David),
Prophet Sulayman (Solomon),
Prophet Ilyas (Elias or Elijah),
The Prophet Alyassa' (Elisha),
Prophet Yunus (Jonah),
Prophet Zakariyya (Zachariah),
Prophet Yahya (John),
Prophet 'Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary).

The significance of the Prophets whose lives are considered in Volume Two, is that probabaly more than half the world's population claims to be following one or another of them - the Jews claim to be following Sayyedina Musa, peace be upon him; the Christians claim to be following Sayyedina Isa, peace be upon him; and the Muslims claim to be follwing Sayyedina Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

This book sets out to summarise what the Qur'an has to say about this matter, and accordingly there is very little speculation or conjecture or personal opinion in the pages which follow. The author has simply tried to gather together all the relevant ayat (verse of the Qur'an) concerning each of the Prophets' in turn.
